Wes Parker

President

Mr. Parker, a Fort Lauderdale native,  has been active in the real estate industry since 2002 where he began his career with a national real estate development company specializing in the development of strip centers across the nation. His responsibilities included site selection, lease negotiations, and property management. Subsequently, Mr. Parker worked for a local Fort Lauderdale based commercial firm initially as a commercial property manager and then brokering commercial and industrial properties throughout southeast Florida. After several years Mr. Parker earned the opportunity to work for Roger Staubach’s, The Staubach Company, in the Fort Lauderdale office. Through his time at The Staubach Company he gained experience acquiring properties and relocating many national retail tenants including: Verizon Wireless, FedEx Kinkos, Accor Hotels, Winn Dixie and many more national and regional tenants.

In 2008 Mr. Parker founded Parker Realty Investments, Inc. (formerly Southport Properties, Inc.) and since its inception Mr. Parker has syndicated many successful real estate investments throughout Florida while offering brokerage services to select clients throughout the greater Fort Lauderdale market. Mr. Parker also is responsible for the management of the Dixie Southland Corp. and Lakeside Ranch Corporation portfolio consisting of several hundred thousand square feet of industrial properties.

Mr. Parker attended Elon University (Elon, NC) and earned a B.A. from Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL) prior to earning an M.B.A. in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University (Davie, FL). Wes is married to Angie and raise their two children, Audrey and William, in Fort Lauderdale.

Community Service:

It is our philosophy that whatever you put into something you get out. This cannot be more true than investing in one’s community. This lesson was learned by Mr. Parker through being raised in an environment of service to community beginning with his grandfather,  Dr. Louis W. Parker, donating the Parker Playhouse and co-founding Nova University (now Nova Southeastern University) among many other philanthropic achievements.

Wes is active in the Fort Lauderdale community through many organizations including:

Lauderdale Yacht Club – Elected to Board of Governors (2016-2020)
